As we do our best to follow the guidelines, while also accommodating our athletes, we have been making several changes to find the best solution.


Please read to the bottom to make sure you're aware of all the new changes!



New Provincial Health Orders


We have had time to read the Provincial Health Order and how it applies to our gym. To quote the order it says:


“Indoor group physical activities: Businesses, recreation centers or other organizations that organize or operate high risk indoor group physical activities must suspend the following activities:

  • Spin classes

  • Hot yoga

  • High intensity interval training (HIIT)

Guidance on other physical activities done with a group indoors will need to follow updated guidance that is being developed. These activities can stay open while updated guidance is being developed. This includes:

  • Dance studios

  • Martial arts

  • Cheerleading

Gyms and recreation facilities: Gyms and recreation facilities that offer individual workouts and personal training sessions can remain open as long as they have a COVID-19 Safety Plan that is strictly followed. “


Our Response


Although not specifically listed, we feel the group fitness training we are offering is not as risky as HIIT or spin so we intend to offer our current class schedule while we await updated guidance.

We ask that everyone please follow all the protocols we have put in place since reopening.


In addition, please wear a mask. Masks must be worn at all times entering and exiting the building. It should be worn anytime you are not in your square exercising.


New Workout Spaces and walking lanes

We spent some time reconfiguring the gym to meet current COVID protocols. We made your workout spaces bigger and that will put a lower limit on class sizes.

  • There now will be a 10 athlete max in all classes. Please be sure to sign up on ZenPlanner to reserve your spot. The likelihood of classes filling up is far greater so it will be important not to wait until the last minute to sign up.

  • We are going to utilize the back room to boost the class cap up to 10 athletes per class.

  • With classes filling up it will important to make the classes you sign up for.

  • Last minute cancelations and no shows will take spots from other willing members. Please don't let this happen.


Some added new measures to help minimize close contact.

• Directed flow of traffic • More equipment out in workout squares • Square by the plates moved over to give better access




Waitlist and Schedule Info

With smaller class sizes, its more important than ever to reserve your spot!

  • If you don't get the class you want to reserve because it's full make sure to put yourself on the wait list. You will get an email if a spot opens up (and you will be automatically added to the reserved list).

  • Spots open up frequently!

  • Emails can be glitchy, delayed, or sent to junk. If you are waiting on a spot, try to also keep a close eye on your ZenPlanner so you don't miss out if you make it into a class off the waitlist!

  • To easily check your reservations, and/or your spot on a waiting list, click the "Reservations" tab across the top in your ZenPlanner app.

  • We have adjusted the reservation cancelation timeline to 4 hours before class starts. Please cancel ASAP if you are no longer able to attend.

  • If you need to cancel with less than 4 hours notice, please message Jesse right away (but please try to avoid last minute cancellations)!



New Class:

  • Our current "Beginners Crossfit" class on Saturdays will temporarily be open to all CrossFit members as a regular class so that we can get more of you in and working out! We hope this helps!


Important note regarding BodyFit Classes:


Those with BodyFit only memberships only have access to a possible 6 classes per week. CrossFit members have a possible 29 classes to choose from.

Crossfitters, please do not book yourself into BodyFit classes just because your preferred time slot is full. This means you may have to occasionally go to an early morning or later class. Thanks for your understanding guys! Rest assured we are doing everything we can to make this all work until class sizes can be increases again.




So far the new set up and protocols have been working well because of all of you! Some of us are not getting our favorite pull-up bar, area to work out in, or preferred time slot, but everyone has been very understanding!
